Admission Requirement Procedure

MAPS Program accepts application from February 1st to Mid of June every year through our website (http://www.maps-tu.org/index.php/apply-now/online-application-form.html) and by post. If you submit your application by post, it must reach us by the due date. Once we receive you application, you will be informed whether you have been selected to attend an interview screening which normally begin in mid-May.

The result will be announced on the website at the end of June at the latest. Successful applicants will receive the admission notification and offer letter by email and post.

Admission Requirement

  • Graduated with at least a bachelor's degree in any field of study, both domestic and international, from an educational institution recognized by the University Council, with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

  •  Have English test scores according to the criteria set by the university. However, the test scores must not be more than 2 years old, counting from the test date to the application date.

  • In the case of foreign applicants who graduated from a program taught in English from a country where English is the official language, English test scores are exempt
  • Have qualifications according to Thammasat University regulations on graduate studies, B.E. 2561.
  • Applicants must write a Statement of Purpose approximately 500 words in English.
  • Applicants must pass a written examination and an interview.
  • Applicants must submit English test results from TU-GET or TOEFL or IELTS (test results must not be more than 2 years old from the test date to the selection date).
  • Other conditions are in accordance with the announcement of graduate study admissions of Thammasat University and/or the program committee.

MAPS Program 
mid May-June After you have submitted your application, you can check the status of your application
on your Application Status Page. Your application will be evaluated by the Admission
Committee. Admission to MAPS Program is based on overall academic performance,
letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, academic essay, and the interview
screening. 
mid May-June You will be informed whether you are selected to attend an interview screening which may
be conducted in-person or via Skype (if you are an overseas applicant). The interview
screening process will normally begin in mid-May. 
June 30th at the latest Admission result will be announced on the website. Successful applicants will receive the
admission notification and offer letter by email and post.
July Visa application period for overseas students and preparation period
Early August Orientation
mid-August Semester begins
